Workday No. 20 "De-vo-sh..."

Hehe, get it?
Sorry. Fatigue, paint fumes, heat...

Lots to report today. First of all, I think it safe to say, we're well
into the back breaking stage of the renovation these days.

Here's a devoted Todd using a toothbrush-sized brush on the crumbly part
of the cinder block wall in preparation for painting on the "Dry Lock".

After wards the wall needed just a wee bit of cleaning. It was coated with some kind of nasty rust colored powder.

Later on Marnie, Dan and Todd cut in
while I used the roller. Looks nice huh?
We would've finished painting it today had we not run out of paint.
Rats.

Sandy put first coats of paint on the doors in the hutand Ellen, Dan and Marnie applied the second ones.

The big F got its second coat today too,
and her space at the end of the hall got coated in the most rich "Garden Wall".Sandy also took a box truck full of construction debris to the dump today.
Thank you Sandy.

Bill made us a big N to go with our F, O and U.
He'll cut out the D later tonight.

For a brief minute there I thought he'd made it backwards...Oh duh.

Ken went through each and every light bulb in the place to determine what works and what doesn't. He put a lot of miles on ladder today. Booth trim is done in the front room and the doors will all get their second coats tomorrow. Face plates are up and the air vents are not far behind.

Our very best helper of them all, Mr. Eli came in today
sporting a most impressive cast on his left wrist. The break will be all healed up in about four weeks. We're so thankful
he's okay and were thrilled he came to keep us company today.
Anyone know where to get extra large silly bands?
